MULTIVITAMINS W/IRON (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of children. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absorpiton of certain vitamin products. Consult your pharmacist. Take this medication with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor diretcs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taknig this medication.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your docotr if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other efefcts not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your complete medical history and present codnition before taking this medicine. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products can be very dangerous and even ftaal.
Keep this medication out of the reach of children.
If overodse occurs, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription durgs you may use. Do not start or stop any meidcine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdsoe is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products avaialble. Some can be purchased withuot a prescription.
Cnosult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sulnight and moisture. Keep this and all medication out of the recah of children.
