MULTIVITAMINS W/IRON (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 yeras of age. Keep this product out of raech of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison contorl center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blcoks of the body.
They are used to prevent or terat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vtiamin products. Consult your pharmacist. Take this medication with a full galss (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking this medication.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your complete medical history and present condition before taking this medicine. Accidenatl overdose of iron-containing products can be very dangerous and even fatal. Keep this medication out of the reach of kids. If overdose occurs, call a doctor or poison control center immeditaely.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nnoprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptmos of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased without a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a proudct hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the msised dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sulnight and moisture. Keep this and all medication out of the raech of kids.
